Citigroup Storytelling Production Analyst - C13 in Jacksonville, Florida

The Storytelling Production Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. The Storytelling Production Analyst will be a key member of the Storytelling Production team within Citi's Design & UX organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Invent and inspire customer experiences and user flows that are radically consistent, curiously easy, and bold by design

  • Partner with creatives, strategists, project managers, and other team members to develop effective end-to-end customer experiences across all channels

  • Utilize a deep understanding of the Citi product offering, the market in which Citi operates, and the target customers

  • Review and Interpret creative briefs alongside members of your experience design team

  • Understand customer goals, business requirements, technical constraints, and be able to work within project parameters

  • Embrace and apply Design Thinking principles with agile methods

  • Develop content strategies through content inventories, current-state analysis, site audits, competitive assessments, user testing, and website metrics

  • Simplify the customer experience through succinct, thoughtful and personalized messaging

  • Be the voice of the customer and a champion for world-class brand experiences

  • Confidently present project objectives, insights, and creative solutions persuasively to internal stakeholders

  • Skilled at presenting objectives, design approaches, and creative solutions to stakeholders in an articulate and persuasive manner

  • Interpret stakeholder feedback and communicate feedback to the design team

  • Experiment with new tools and techniques and share your learning

  • Engage in all aspects of the project

  • Motivate, mentor and inspire other members of the team

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in order to facilitate discussions and guide the decision making process to meet project objectives

  • Demonstrate thought leadership through participation at industry conferences

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience

  • Print experience

  • Excellent command of grammar, word usage, syntax, and common colloquialisms

  • Advanced-level knowledge of Word, Excel, In-Design and other common software platforms

  • Portfolio that represents a range of writing styles, subject matter, and length

  • Experience presenting work to clients and stake holders

  • Experience working in Agile Methodologies and Design Thinking

  • Appreciation for interaction design, site architecture, and designing intuitive user interfaces and navigation

  • Experienced knowledge of the possibilities and limitations of web technologies

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and can articulate creative concepts to the internal team and clients

  • Demonstrated organization and time management skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Open, honest and direct in your approach to feedback and asking for assistance

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Storytelling Production support for content development and execution for internal and external business messaging through crafting of articles, emails, intranet posts and live events, leveraging video and graphic design, to convey corporate vision and messaging, drive engagement, and build culture.

  • Develop creative storytelling tactics to break through and resonate with colleagues while also leveraging primary channels including email, web, video and town halls.

  • Ensure that stories align to and reinforce the Technology and Citi’s business objectives, strategic priorities, culture and mission and value proposition.

  • Drive consistent messaging that has the right tone and information and is conversational and understandable.

  • Advance talent engagement and people strategy through compelling storytelling and graphic content creation.

  • Support content creation and maintenance for intranet hub and other communications channels.

  • Adhere to Citi’s communication standards and procedures and serve as subject matter expert on communication tools and applications.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • At least five years of communications experience, preferably at a large and complex organization, or at an agency supporting large organizations

  • Superior writing and editing skills to develop engaging messages, internal articles and talking points for speeches and presentations

  • Able to identify synergies between business initiatives and the corporate strategy to drive message clarity and understanding

  • Adept at building and managing relationships with senior executives, navigating competing interests and providing opposing viewpoints productively

  • A self-starter who will suggest and execute creative ways to communicate key business initiatives, efforts and launches across communication channels

  • A team player who effectively works across businesses and functions to deliver strong and effective storytelling communications

  • Track record of success in delivering high quality work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, journalism or other related field preferred

  • External communications experience preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$125,600.00 - $188,400.00
