How you’ll shape the future of the Shared Services Department:

• Participate in month-end and year-end close process. Including: verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions and accounts.

• Assist in the quarterly and annual audits in support of internal and external audit team. Including: providing supporting schedules, reconciliations, and audit requirement related to user access.

• Responsible for supporting ERP integrations while also guiding the activities of professional and technical personnel involved in the design, development and implementation of software.

• Support the analysis of existing applications and programs in development to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of those programs, including requests/forecasts for changes required to meet needs of clients and internal operations.

• Consult with the Accounting and Finance business area’s management team to identify opportunities for business process improvements and initiate process improvements, where feasible, throughout supported areas.

• Support the coordination and the testing of patches, fixes and upgrades to business systems via the standard testing path of Development, QA and Production, while working with impacted business users to complete thorough user acceptance testing.

• Support, maintain, troubleshoot complex issues and administer the primary software systems for the accounting and finance business area.

• When required, liaison with external support providers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

• Gain working knowledge of all legacy systems impacting financial results to be in a position to ensure ERP meets the needs of accounting and finance.

• Work closely with the Information Technology department.

• Lead requirements gathering, project plan preparation, user acceptance testing, documentation and implementation, train users, and support implemented processes.

• Create and ensure standardized financial reporting for business areas.

• Additional duties as assigned.

You’ll be someone who can bring:

• Bachelor of Accounting with System implementation experience preferred.

• 3-5 years of accounting experience with technical solutions and system design and integration, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of internal systems, internal processes, Project Management and Business Process Improvements.
