Description

We are presenting a short-term contract job for a Software Engineer in the IT Software sector, located in Jacksonville, Florida. The role entails contributing to our software development initiatives, utilizing your expertise to devise, construct, and deploy software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop software applications using PHP with Laravel or Symfony frameworks

• Build and optimize queries, as well as create and modify tables in MySQL server

• Work collaboratively with team members, providing support and maintaining clear communication to advance project development

• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, and be willing to adapt and learn new platforms as needed

• Employ JavaScript for application development

• Oversee Git and remote repositories such as Bitbucket or GitHub

• Design and integrate SOAP/RESTful APIs

• Utilize your CSS skills for front-end development

• Having experience with ReactJS, Angular, or Vue.js is advantageous

• Implement Agile development methodologies for effective project management

• Work within Linux, OS X, and Windows operating systems

• Having experience with AWS or Azure will be considered a plus

• Employ Vagrant or Docker to create isolated environments for testing and deployment

Requirements • Proficiency in API development is necessary

• Expertise in CSS is required

• Strong knowledge of PHP is essential

• Experience with MySQL is needed

• Familiarity with Symfony Framework is desired
