Job Description

Join AECOM as a Senior Lead Transportation Planner/Engineer in Jacksonville, FL

AECOM is excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Lead Transportation Planner/Engineer in Jacksonville, FL. This pivotal role will spearhead transportation planning initiatives across North Florida, contributing to AECOM's excellence in infrastructure planning and client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Transportation Planning : Oversee transportation planning, conceptual engineering, and traffic engineering practices in North Florida.

  • Project Management : Manage various surface transportation project developments, including planning, feasibility, and corridor studies.

  • Client Relationship Development : Cultivate and maintain client relationships, driving project pursuits and execution.

  • Staff Development : Foster the growth of staff resources in Jacksonville and collaborate with other offices throughout Florida.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban/Regional Planning, or a related field.

  • 10 years of experience in transportation and traffic planning, including 2 years in project management or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of transportation project development, planning, NEPA, conceptual engineering, and public involvement/outreach techniques.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Public presentation experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $110,000.00 - $185,000.00.
