Citigroup Motion Graphics Artist / Designer - In-house Creative Agency in Jacksonville, Florida
Citi’s US in-house creative agency is looking for a Motion Graphics Artist / Designer to help strengthen a growing multimedia team and elevate the video assets shared both internally and externally.
The key characteristics for this position are:
Video expert – Taking complex ideas and making them clear through hands on video production, storyboarding and animation
Brand strategist – Maintaining a keen eye and uncovering the most effective methods of implementing Citi’s visual identity and motion principles to ensure a consistent look and feel for the clients
Innovative designer – Applying a rich background of design fundamentals in creative ways to elevate our deliverables
Client advocate – Approaching projects with the needs of the internal client partner at front of mind
Continuous learner / Influencer – Curious and constantly learning design trends / enhancements that set our digital communications apart
Collaborative partner – Working with internal team members to drive creative thought to harness insights and develop solutions that are best for the customer and align to our client's mission
Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the in-house agency is to provide their partners with innovative and dynamic assets that adhere to brand guidelines, the client's central messaging and ADA compliance.
This Motion Graphics Artist / Designer is specifically responsible for:
Developing video for both internal and customer-facing touchpoints (e.g., sizzle reels, out of home advertising, social media posts, product demos, etc.)
Using video editing software to produce eye-catching visuals and animated graphics on agilecampaign calendars
Partnering with copywriters to brainstorm a visual concept to bring a script to life
Editingvideo content to strengthen the final output (e.g., color correcting footage and equalizing audio, etc.)
Implementing comprehensive guidelines into deliverables to ensure 100% ADA compliance
Creating marketing assets with customer experience at the forefront
Owning creatives throughout the lifecycle of the job — from storyboard to final file handoff
Reflecting core principles of curiosity and boldness in your approach to projects and demonstrating determination to achieve a successful conclusion
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in video production, editing andmotion graphics
Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud: especially After Effects and Premiere Pro
A proven history of design fundamentals (including typography, color theory, brand adherence, and critical thinking with regards to creative application)
Knowledge of ADA compliance as it pertains to digital deliverables including video
Ability to design and produce high-end, multiplatform deliverables
Rich portfolio of digital work (video examples are required, social media projects are a plus)
Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly and effectively discuss projects
Excellent organizational skills and ability to keep track of multiple concurrent job statuses (experience with workflow tools is a plus)
Ability to meet project deadlines and adhere to a process calendar
Ability to successfully communicate and collaborate with local and remote team members
A BA or higher in design or a related field
Mac literacy
Education:
- Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
