The Finance Department is actively seeking a Manager of Accounting Services - Systems Coordinator.

This position reports to the Manager of Accounting Services - Systems and is responsible for coordinating ERP system processes, assisting in the management of ERP system operational requests, participating in ERP system improvement initiatives, establishing best business practices throughout the organization, providing guidance and recommendations to improve the functionality and cross-module utilization of the various ERP modules/applications. Primary responsibilities include the following:
Examples of Work
Operational Level:
Maintain and monitor the Ticketing system and follow up in a timely manner in addressing issues.
Performs user testing of financial and accounting information in Oracle ERP Financial applications as needed, and any other testing that involves or has implications on Oracle ERP applications.
Responds to emergent problems in a timely manner and focuses both on long-term projects and immediate tasks required to maintain system functionality.
Identifies and defines, through researching, the root cause of issues that arise from the conflict between business needs and Oracle Cloud/Fusion ERP applications functionality.
Leads and assists in finding the best practice and ways towards resolution.
Reviews and assesses system patch release impacts and communicate to stakeholders through proper channels.
Strategic Level:
Builds a collaborative relationship with Technology Solution department.
Coordinates and assists the improvements and/or enhancements efforts of Oracle Cloud/Fusion ERP system.
Coordinates the efforts among the module functional leads/owners and the Technology Solutions leads as needed.
Facilitates and recommends continuous process improvement opportunities.
Analyzes impacts and coordinates with leads for patches and development work on existing functionality.
Governance Level:
Updates/Write standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job aids.
Analyzes System user roles to align with business requirements, controls, and segregation of duties.
Other duties as assigned.
Open Requirements/Supplemental Information
- A seven-year combination of education, and professional experience in accounting, finance or related field.
Preferred
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Accounting or related field is preferred.
Three (3) years’ experience at the professional level in governmental accounting or governmental auditing is preferred.
Mid-level Excel Proficiency: Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and data validation is preferred.
ERP Experience (Oracle Financials or Similar); hands-on system navigation experience with Oracle or any major ERP is preferred. Ability to troubleshoot common ERP issues, pull ad hoc reports, and provide insights based on system data is preferred. A long with knowledge of process documentation, project management, application development, process re-engineering and end-user training and documentation.
