As an R&D Finance Manager at Johnson & Johnson Vision, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and providing strategic guidance for our Research and Development department. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting and financial forecasting for the Vision R&D department, ensuring accuracy , compliance, and transparency.

• Build executive level financial presentations and present results to both finance and non-finance partners.

• Lead budget prioritization conversations with business partners, ensuring that department spend is in line with R&D strategy and business unit financial expectations

• Develop financial tools and processes to simplify and improve accuracy of financial models. Coordinate the implementation of these tools across both the Vision Care and Surgical Vision business units.

• Partner with Innovation team to support new product business case development as well as long term financial plan and strategy.

• Manage team of three analysts including day to day responsibilities, development conversations, and the creation of team goals.

• Maintain a culture financial compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

Education :

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (CMA, CPA) is an asset.

Required :

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles. Experience within R&D is preferred.

• Prior experience people managing is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex financial data.

• Proven track record of successfully implementing financial strategies and driving business results.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Microsoft Excel.
