Lockheed Martin Field Engineer / F-35 EOTS / Jacksonville FL in Jacksonville, Florida

Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Field Engineer to support the sustainment, maintenance, and operations of the organic F-35 EOTS Depot in Jacksonville FL. The primary job responsibility will be to support metrics management of Depot operations and evaluate risks and opportunities to repair throughput.

The successful candidate will assess current depot capabilities and coordinate implementation of future capabilities in accordance with customer specifications when awarded. Assist the USG Artisans in troubleshooting and repair of EOTS LRCs by actively interfacing with engineering, using technical data, wiring diagrams, test equipment, software programs, and depot maintenance procedures. Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, determine technical solutions in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommend actions to company or customer representatives. The candidate must be able to respond to direction quickly and efficiently and work well with other team members, handle multiple tasks and provide logistical support for a multitude of different contractual requirements. The employee will work closely with other members of the Orlando based and F-35 EOTS Depot teams to fulfill contractual obligations. The successful candidate will implement, and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs and policies as directed.

Basic qualifications include strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office software. Candidate should be a self-starter capable of performing assigned tasks with little or no direction and interface well with other Program disciplines. Candidate should be an analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation.

Basic Qualifications:

Desired Skills:

- Knowledge of automated and/or general purpose test equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, network analyzers and waveform generators) used in a depot

- Knowledge of fault isolation for electro-mechanical and electro-optical components

- Knowledge of concepts for hardware repair

- Knowledge of industrial and aircraft maintenance safety standards

- Military flight-line maintenance experience

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
