Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work under the supervision of senior staff to perform quantity takeoffs, computer modeling, design calculations, and plan set production for military and commercial airfields including, but not limited to, such disciplines as earthwork, pavements, and drainage.

  • Work closely on project assignments with those of other engineers and technicians in his/her discipline group.

  • Assists with other duties assigned by Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.

  • Limited travel associated with this position approximately 10-20% to support our Nation-wide airport projects.

Here's what you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering

  • Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills.

  • Registered EIT (Engineer-in-Training)

  • Ability to efficiently utilize time in executing assigned tasks accurately and on time.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Previous design intern or co-op experience - CADD skills including AutoC
