[ASI is seeking a Data Scientist to support DoD and commercial projects. This position is in the Jacksonville, FL area.

  • Work within a logistics team to extract actionable insights based on complex data sets
  • Perform exploratory data analysis on various disparate data sets to understand structure, quality, and gain insights
  • Perform advanced data manipulation techniques to clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis
  • Identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies within datasets
  • Aggregate data and perform statistical analysis to answer questions presented by teammates or customers
  • Apply mathematical models to understand patterns and trends in data sets
  • Forecast future trends based on historical data
  • Effectively communicate findings to, both, technical and non-technical teammates using the most appropriate visualization technique
  • Identify and research the availability of additional data sources to provide more accurate insights
  • Work with the team to make informed decisions based on data findings
  • Stay up to date with the latest tools in data science

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline from a U.S. accredited institution

2+ years of work experience in data analytics

Experience with data visualization techniques and tools such as Power Bi, Qlik, Tableau, and Python libraries such as Plotly, Matplotlib and Seaborn

Proficient in Python to include knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
