Job Title: Assembler/Data Processor

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Assembler/Data Processors. In this role, you will be responsible for picking parts for each order, assembling and building industrial and hydraulic hoses to meet specifications and standards. Your work will ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse and retail counter, providing excellent service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Pick parts per each order and use those parts to assemble industrial and hydraulic hoses.

• Move, store, and transfer materials, supplies, and merchandise within the warehouse.

• Measure and cut hoses based on customer orders using a tape measure and other tools.

• Assist customers at the retail counter with hose repairs, suggestions, and recommendations.

• Prepare customer orders and set up transfers for other branch locations as needed.

• Uphold environmental health and safety standards.

• Ensure attention to detail and inspection of products.

Essential Skills

• Experience working in a warehouse, industrial, or distribution setting.

• Ability to lift and move over 50 lbs.

• Practical knowledge of warehouse operations, data processing, and paper flow procedures.

• Entry level to intermediate proficiency with the Internet and Microsoft Office Products.

• Ability to work independently and with minimal direction after training.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical inclination with assembly experience or experience troubleshooting and repairing hoses on equipment.

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and tape measures.

• Forklift and mechanical assembly experience.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Work Environment

The Hose Assembly Technician role operates in a non-climate controlled facility, which can get hot during the summer and cold in the winter. The shift is from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
