Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team in the manufacturing and assembly of industrial power systems. This role involves wiring power systems and assembling electrical components by reading schematics and engineering drawings. You will use various hand and power tools including power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measures. The work environment is non-climate controlled, and you will be required to stand for the entire shift and may need to stand on ladders to assemble units up to 8 feet in height.
Responsibilities
Manufacture and assemble industrial power systems.
Wire power systems and assemble electrical components.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, process sheets, and schematic drawings.
Utilize hand and power tools, such as power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measures.
Stand for the entire shift and potentially on ladders for assembly tasks.
Essential Skills
Experience with wiring electrical components.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
Ability to read a tape measure, mechanical blueprints, and schematic drawings.
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing is a plus.
Background in construction, handyman work, HVAC, automotive, or similar industries.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or wiring diagrams.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering a pay raise, profit sharing, benefits, paid time off, paid holidays, and 401k upon conversion to a permanent employee. Profit sharing bonuses are paid out quarterly and typically equal about $1 extra per hour. Benefits are provided immediately upon permanent hire. The company will move to a new building in March 2022, increasing the workforce by almost 30%, creating opportunities for advancement and cross-training in new departments, including wiring, mechanical, welding, CNC machinery, electrical testing, paint line, and more.
Work Environment
This position is based in a large, open bay production facility with multiple work stations and bays. The production floor is not climate controlled, but industrial-sized ceiling fans keep the air moving. Workers will wear safety shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs if needed. The shift is from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm (Monday to Friday) and 6:00 am to 12:30 pm on Saturdays. Not being available to work on Saturdays is a disqualifier.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00
