Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Jacksonville, Florida

Description We are opening a position for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the non-profit industry, located in Jacksonville, Florida. This role involves the review of invoices and disbursements, ensuring they can be paid according to provisions. The successful candidate will also provide support for the Purchase Assistance Request Program, ensuring requests are processed in a timely manner. This is a contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Review invoices and disbursements to determine the level of approval needed.

• Ensure all invoices and disbursement requests have the proper documentation for audit purposes.

• Handle duplicate invoices in the internal processing system and conduct research to ensure the invoice hasn't been previously entered.

• Maintain knowledge of program and adapt to changes in company policies.

• Process all categories of reimbursements and pre-authorization requests.

• Participate in end-user testing and training for software implementation.

• Review manual and system submitted reimbursements for accuracy.

• Handle special projects as assigned by management.

• Maintain a Quality Assurance evaluation score of at least 90%.

• Have the ability to work on multiple programs concurrently.

• SAP Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Skilled in Data Entry and Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary

• Familiarity with Oracle and QuickBooks software

• Experience with SAP software

• Previous experience in the Non-Profit sector is a plus

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Ability to handle confidential information.
