Description
Network Administration:
Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-level LANs, WANs, and wireless networks to support manufacturing and corporate operations.
Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance to minimize downtime and ensure scalability.
Administer and maintain firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, and other critical network devices.
Develop and enforce robust network protocols to ensure efficient communication.
Systems Administration:
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage systems, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity solutions to ensure data availability and integrity.
Administer and optimize Active Directory environments, including Group Policy management and domain architecture.
Perform regular system updates, patching, and capacity planning to maintain peak performance.
IT Support:
Provide advanced technical support for end-users, resolving complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Develop and deliver training programs to enhance user proficiency with IT systems.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, processes, and troubleshooting guidelines.
Manufacturing Systems Support:
Manage and support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) devices, and other shop-floor technologies.
Collaborate with production teams to align IT systems with operational needs and resolve production-impacting IT issues.
Ensure seamless integration of ERP systems and other manufacturing-related software.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT administration, including 5+ years in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Expertise in Windows Server, Linux systems, and virtualization technologies.
Advanced knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and network hardware.
Familiarity with manufacturing software such as ERP systems, MES, or SCADA is a strong advantage.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Strong leadership abilities and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
