Description

Network Administration:

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-level LANs, WANs, and wireless networks to support manufacturing and corporate operations.

• Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance to minimize downtime and ensure scalability.

• Administer and maintain firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, and other critical network devices.

• Develop and enforce robust network protocols to ensure efficient communication.

Systems Administration:

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage systems, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

• Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity solutions to ensure data availability and integrity.

• Administer and optimize Active Directory environments, including Group Policy management and domain architecture.

• Perform regular system updates, patching, and capacity planning to maintain peak performance.

IT Support:

• Provide advanced technical support for end-users, resolving complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance user proficiency with IT systems.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, processes, and troubleshooting guidelines.

Manufacturing Systems Support:

• Manage and support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) devices, and other shop-floor technologies.

• Collaborate with production teams to align IT systems with operational needs and resolve production-impacting IT issues.

• Ensure seamless integration of ERP systems and other manufacturing-related software.

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT administration, including 5+ years in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Expertise in Windows Server, Linux systems, and virtualization technologies.

• Advanced knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and network hardware.

• Familiarity with manufacturing software such as ERP systems, MES, or SCADA is a strong advantage.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Strong leadership abilities and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
