Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Support the manufacturing areas with a focus on minimizing downtime & increasing productivity.
Responsibilities
Support maintenance activities on all production equipment, facilities, and utility systems to provide a reliable production platform.
Perform predictive and preventive maintenance in conjunction with production management to ensure operability of all plant production equipment and facilities.
Perform general building maintenance.
Manage machine uptime and downtime.
Utilize PLC knowledge, logging in without editing.
Read industrial electrical schematics.
Understand servo motion.
Work with complex equipment assemblies.
Use good interpersonal skills continually.
Responsible for preventative maintenance on all equipment.
Essential Skills
Maintenance technician experience.
Hydraulics maintenance.
PLC troubleshooting.
Knowledge of PLCs.
Ability to read schematics.
Pneumatics knowledge.
Electrical and mechanical aptitude.
Mechanical troubleshooting.
Hydraulics knowledge.
Welding and fabrication skills.
Maintenance support experience.
Electrical troubleshooting skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in robotics tuning, electrical, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication.
High School diploma or GED required.
Industrial Maintenance Associate's degree preferred.
PLC training (more experience equals higher pay).
Circuit knowledge.
Servo motion experience.
Formal hydraulic training.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Basic writing and comprehension skills.
Field sketching for fabrication.
Robotics and automated welding experience.

Work Environment
The facility is clean, organized, and loud, requiring hearing protection in production areas. The dress code includes uniforms provided for all employees, consisting of steel toe shoes, long sleeve shirts, long pants. Hearing protection and safety glasses are required at all times on the plant floor. The 2nd shift hours are Monday to Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with possible overtime or weekend work as needed, typically notified in advance. Employees can expect to work 50-55 hours per week.

This is a Permanent position based out of Jackson, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $64664.00 - $72904.00/yr.
