1 month training required on how to repair farming equipment.

Duties may include: Maintain, repair, and overhaul farm machinery and vehicles, such as tractors, harvesters, seeders, fertilizer spreaders, and irrigation systems. Dismantle defective machines for repair, using hand tools. Tune or overhaul engines & other related Mechanic activities as per SOC/OES 49-3041.00 (onetonline.org). Only workers meeting all qualifications on the job order should be referred by the Job Service Office. Interested candidates must contact their local employment office to receive a copy of the job order (ETA 790/790A) and applicable attachments. Once the applicant has a copy of the job contract they may call or email the employer to schedule an interview Monday- Friday from 7am to 5pm.
