Summary: You'll collaborate closely with the founding team and a talented group of engineers to shape the future of search and analytics for observability data. Your role will be pivotal in integrating cutting-edge Generative AI technologies into the Cribl product suite, tackling real customer challenges. Working alongside development partners and key stakeholders, you'll be instrumental in designing, building, and delivering products and experiences that will truly delight our customers. uties & Responsibilities:
Building, coaching, mentoring, and growing a cross-functional scrum team of exceptional engineers who excel at building scalable, extensible, maintainable, performant distributed data processing systems. Setting and maintaining the bar for technical excellence in product development with focus on design, robustness, and quality of code. Maintaining consistency with Cribl's existing role, leveling, and SDLC policies / processes. Leading the team in the definition, design, testing, implementation, support, and maintenance.
Fostering a "customer first" mindset by aligning your team's effort with customer delight.
Establishing a strong partnership with product management and product operations team members to refine, prioritize, and execute against the AI Inference roadmap.

Proven experience leading teams in designing and maintaining large-scale systems for AI Inference. Strong experience with Python or TypeScript, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies and common cloud providers. Solid understanding of machine learning frameworks and infrastructure. Ability to work with cloud and compliance teams to ensure reliability and security. Experience improving system performance and reducing costs. Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders effectively. 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years managing engineering teams.
