Intermountain Health Data Science Intern in Jackson, Mississippi
Job Description:

As a Data Science Intern, you will work as a member of the Enterprise AI Center of Enablement to develop AI products that will create impact for the communities and patients we serve.
Position Details:
This role work with the team to build AI and ML solutions with the Enterprise AI Center of Enablement. This is a remote internship. Incumbent will work Monday-Friday, during regular business hours.
Skills
Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer hardware (pc, mouse, monitor, keyboard).
Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
Self-motivated and directed with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Strong customer service orientation with keen attention to detail.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Strong research, organizational and analytical skills as well as the ability to teach users.
Demonstrated ability to solve problems in a graceful and sensitive manner.
Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service-oriented environment.
Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and e-mail and scheduling applications.
Experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred:
Students in Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
Data Science, Statistics, or Machine Learning Experience.
Strong coding skills.

Raise or lower an object from one level to another.
Operate IT equipment, tools, and computers requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
See and read computer monitors and documents.
Transport oneself from place to place.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$20.86 - $30.81
