We are searching for an engineer in Jackson, MI to support new process and product development projects within the research lab of an industry leading company.

This is a contract position expected to last a year and could be longer.

location: Jackson, Michigan

job type: Contract

salary: $40 - 45 per hour

work hours: 8am to 5pm

education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

• Assist in current projects involving material development of polymers, process development for extrusion and material characterization, part testing, printed electronics and failure analysis.

• Develop and sustain new processes associated with polymer additive manufacturing and printed electronics.

• Support the engineering team in producing additively manufactured (AM) parts for projects.

• Construct and test prototypes and designs.

• Present and deliver data to the engineering team in an efficient and organized manner.
