The Activities Desk Associate has a primary focus on providing courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable service to all guests interested in participating in Grand Teton Lodge Company and Flagg Ranch Company-offered activities. Activities Desk Agents are expected to be engaging and welcoming to all guests coming though the Lodge lobby, as well as being knowledgeable of the park and surrounding area. Equally as important, you are here to have some fun too!

The Activities Desk Associate responsibilities at Jackson Lake Lodge include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides information and arranges reservations for all activities and transportation for all GTLC locations

  • Possesses knowledge of all activities offered at GTLC

  • Issues tickets and refunds for specific activities

  • Uphold all National Park Service and Brand Standard requirements

  • Accurately records all advance reservations and cancellations

  • Operation of Visual One Activities Schedule

  • Knowledge of frequently asked questions; Grand Teton Lodge activities, National Park activities, hiking trails, things for kids to do, activities in Jackson and Teton Village, hotels/motels in Jackson, good restaurants, white water trips, babysitting, church services, weather, traffic updates, menus, airport and bus schedules, and Grand Teton Lodge Company rates

  • Assists guests in making reservations at any food and beverage outlet within GTLC that requires or encourages reservations

  • Assists guests in making reservations for regional and outlying activity operations

  • Arranges special transportation needs for guests

  • Possesses knowledge of all activities offered and is able to answer questions concerning these activities

  • Other duties as assigned

The Activities Desk Agent position asks that any candidate be able to demonstrate the following skills or experience:

  • Strong working knowledge of computers – Preferred

  • Fluent in understanding and speaking English - Required

  • Friendly, courteous, engaging and passionate - Required

  • The ability to relate well to guests and employees - Required

  • Perform under pressure - Required

  • Basic math skills – Preferred

  • Cash handling – Preferred

  • Experience with Visual One – Preferred

  • Knowledge of Grand Teton National Park – Preferred

The expected pay range is $17.20. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
