Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk to be part of our team based in Jackson, Georgia. This role primarily involves managing receivable accounts, performing account reconciliations, and handling billing and cash applications. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks, and have a strong background in account reconciliation and accounts receivable.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain customer credit records with accuracy

• Efficiently process customer credit applications

• Handle accounts receivable and ensure all records are up-to-date

• Perform account reconciliation tasks regularly to ensure financial accuracy

• Handle billing processes and cash applications effectively

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Use Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting

• Utilize QuickBooks for accounting tasks and financial management

• Implement cash collections strategies to ensure timely payment of invoices. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing processes

• Proficiency in Cash Applications

• Experience in Cash Collections

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with QuickBooks software

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

• Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve discrepancies

• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree in finance or related field preferred.
