Full Job DescriptionOur client, a manufacturer in the healthcare and industrial workplace space, is seeking an Associate Director of Corporate Communications to join their team fulltime. This role is hybrid onsite in Iselin, NJ ideally 2 days per week onsite. You also must be able to travel internationally and domestically up to 10% of the time.The Director of Corporate Communications will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the brand's global communications strategy, ensuring a cohesive brand narrative that reinforces the company's leadership in safety and sustainability. This strategic position will align all internal and external communications with the brand's corporate vision and long-term objectives, positioning the company as an industry frontrunner.You will lead a high-performing team to develop a comprehensive global content strategy and editorial calendar across digital platforms, including website, social media channels, and the employee intranet. Additionally, the Director will collaborate closely with HR leaders to foster a deep connection between leadership and the workforce, ensuring employees are well-informed, engaged, and aligned with the company's mission.RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead team to develop communications and corporate positioning strategies that enhance corporate reputation and support business growth. Ensure uniform messaging about the value of the brand across globally managed platforms.Collaborate with leadership on the development of sustainability messaging and annual Sustainability and Labour Rights Reports. Lead cross-functional teams of senior BU, R&D, QA, Legal & Guardian leaders to establish new processes to review / approve sustainability claims.Drive content strategy for home page and "About Us" areas of the site. Oversee development of content calendar and delegate tasks to Design Studio and Digital Marketing teams to ensure regular, consistent site updates. Ensure a consistent positioning and presence across social channels. Work closely with Regional Marketing in support of their goals to leverage social to generate new business leads and drive revenue. Create an engaging social media presence for the brand.Guide team members to coordinate with a network of internal communications professionals in investor relations, regional marketing, and human resources teams to ensure cohesive messaging for worldwide announcements and crisis responses.Manage Corporate Communications Advertising & Promotions budget, tracking ROI of A&P spend. Leverage Global Marketing Dashboard established by Digital Marketing & Innovation team to set Corporate Communications KPI's in collaboration with Corporate Marketing leadership. Share out quarterly reports with ELT detailing progress, insights gained, and next steps.Maximize Corporate Communications team effectiveness by mentoring members to refine existing skills and build new ones. Cultivate a positive, collaborative culture and work environment.Analyze corporate communications industry best practices, trends, and digital tools / technologies. Evaluate costs and benefits of bringing new practices / tools. Make recommendations to Senior Director, Corporate Marketing and Global Product & Market Vice President around adoption of new tools and technologies can improve efficiencies and drive growth. Oversee team responsible for internal communications strategy to drive employee engagement. Ensure regular updates to employee intranet and oversee development of all-company e-mails. Oversee development of all-company town hall agendas and presentations, coaching senior leaders as needed on talking points and providing suggestions on how to improve messaging.JOB REQUIREMENTS:15+ years of experience in strategic communications or corporate communications10+ years' experience managing teams Additional background in marketing communications, market research and/or branding a plusExperience overseeing development of content calendars, web site content strategy and social media campaignsExperience managing in-house communications teams and external PR agenciesDemonstrated track record of achieving goals & objectivesExperience working and managing within a matrix organization Experience within a global/multinational environmentDemonstrated experience in people management and leading diverse teamsADDITIONAL SKILLS:Fluent in English, Other languages a plusPC literate with knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel Social media savvy Effective verbal and written communication skillsGood financial and presentation skills Superior business judgment and ability to make decisionsCustomer centric approach (ability to serve internal and external customers)In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including medical data.
