How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Business Development Senior Director of Data Sales specializing in the Not-for-Profit vertical, you will be a key driver of revenue growth. Your primary focus will be establishing and closing new business deals with prominent Not-for-Profit organizations. Reporting to the Vice President, Business Development, you will collaborate extensively with internal teams, including client growth, product, marketing, and analytics, as well as potentially with third-party partners. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly impact Epsilon's growth within a strategically important vertical, working with cutting-edge data solutions. You will be responsible for building and nurturing long-term relationships with senior-level decision-makers at these high-profile Not-for-Profit organizations.

As a Business Development Senior Director, you will have an impactful role in expanding Epsilon's presence within the Not-for-Profit sector, directly contributing to revenue targets and shaping the future of data-driven solutions for these organizations. The role also provides significant growth opportunities, allowing you to work with a diverse portfolio of data products, enhance your expertise in the Not-for-Profit space, and establish yourself as a leader in data sales within this vertical. Furthermore, you will benefit from collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentorship from experienced professionals across the organization.

What You’ll Achieve

  • Drive Revenue: Secure new business within the Not-for-Profit vertical, directly impacting Epsilon's bottom line and contributing to our social impact goals.

  • Build Partnerships: Cultivate and expand relationships with senior decision-makers at leading Not-for-Profit organizations.

  • Become a Data Expert: Develop deep expertise in Epsilon's data products and their application within the Not-for-Profit sector, becoming a trusted advisor and go-to resource for clients.

  • Influence Product: Provide valuable client feedback to shape future data offerings and solutions tailored to the specific needs of the Not-for-Profit industry.

  • Expand Market Reach: Contribute to Epsilon's growth strategy by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the Not-for-Profit vertical, solidifying our position as a leader in data-driven solutions for this sector.

Who You Are

  • What you’ll bring with you:

  • 8-10+ years of proven success as a top-performing sales hunter, specializing in data solutions or related fields.

  • A highly motivated and experienced sales hunter with a proven track record of prospecting, cold calling, and closing deals using a needs-based selling approach.

  • Expertise in managing complex, long sales cycles, including developing achievable milestones and providing consistent, meticulous follow-up.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to make compelling presentations to diverse and senior business stakeholders.

  • Proficient in Salesforce.com for comprehensive account management and detailed record-keeping.

  • Proven ability to negotiate and close deals.

  • Strategic, flexible, tenacious, and results-oriented mindset.

  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapts quickly to change.

  • Deep understanding of how foundational data fuels analytics and targeted audience strategies across multiple channels, including programmatic (digital), social, advanced TV, and direct mail.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Why you might stand out from other talent:

  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of the Not-for-Profit vertical.

  • Proven track record of sales leadership and performance in the Not-for-Profit vertical.

  • Understanding of data-driven technologies and analytics for Not-for-Profit organizations.

  • Ability to create and execute sales strategies aligned with the goals and mission of key prospect organizations.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams (product development, marketing, analytics).

  • Knowledge of fundraising tactics, donor and constituent insights and analytics, and data use cases specific to the Not-for-Profit vertical.

  • Strong business communication and presentation skills, with the ability to advocate for the value of data-driven solutions.

Pay Range: $120,000 - $145,000

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon, but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location and application employment laws. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
