Robert Half Finance and Accounting and Kevin Sweet have partnered with a global supply chain client for a newly created Senior Corporate Accountant. Responsibilities include:

· Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes

· Review and prepare consolidated financial statements

· Help design and implement internal control processes

· Regularly evaluate internal controls for efficiency, identify areas of improvement, and propose enhancements

· Support the annual audit process

· Balance sheet reconciliations and preparing supporting documentation

· Collaborate with various corporate departments, gather and provide necessary information for financial reporting

· Opportunity to work on various special task teams and ad-hoc projects

Interested candidates must have:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

· CPA certification or parts passed in highly preferred

· Minimum of 3 or more years of public accounting experience

· Extensive knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, US GAAP and IFRS

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently as well as an effective team member

· Proficient with accounting software and Excel
