Job Title: Program Manager- Lead Global Risk & Controls

Location: Irving, TX or Tampa, FL

Contract Terms : 12 months

Work Authorization: W2

One of our Fortune 50 Financial Service Clients has a new opportunity as a Program Manager supporting the Global Business Risk & Controls Office. The Program Management Senior Lead may have responsibilities spanning across oversight committees and forums, as well as processes such as functional challenge, change control, Article/MRA/Gap Milestone closure, or corrective action plan management. The Senior Lead will need to effectively partner with stakeholders across the CAO and businesses and functions to support the ongoing processes, continually improve the guidance and drive towards efficient and sustainable best practices.

In this role, you will:

This role may also be involved in the creation of reporting directly shared with the Regulators. The work performed by the Program Management Senior Lead impacts the effectiveness of the Global Business Risk and Control organization, which in turn impacts the overall execution of Citi’s enterprise-wide Transformation Program.

Highly developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and achieve agreements with other colleagues and Senior Managers across LOBs/Functions. The role also requires a high degree of agility and ability to operate in a complex and, at times, ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs.

  • Identifies stakeholders and key organizations and build and manage relationships.

  • Directs the creation of multiple programs of work and manage their alignment to business goals.

  • Leads the facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of cross-functional macro level topics within/across programs and with Senior Management.

  • Leads the identification and drive resolution of issues, including those outside established programs of work.

  • Works with stakeholders to ensure program scope definition meets business objectives.

  • Drives adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery and leverage across the program.

  • Assists program team in negotiating for resources owned by other departments in order ensure the program can be completed.

  • Directs the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.

  • Directs the identification of risks which impact program delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.

Required Qualifications:

Must have a strong background in the Financial Services Industry to apply. Highly experienced in interacting with Stakeholders and working across Risk & Regulatory teams.

  • Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail

  • Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders

  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
