OVERALL PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE:

The Lottery Sales Representative I is responsible for driving sales within an assigned territory. This is a customer facing role.

Responsibilities

  • Complete route coverage within the assigned territory to ensure maximum product availability and visibility.

  • Evaluate and manage product inventory, display, and presentation.

  • Optimize inventory mix at retail locations through pack transfers and returns as requested by retailers.

  • Assist in developing detailed execution plans to grow sales within the assigned district.

  • Manage product levels to ensure customer demands are met across all points of retail distribution.

  • Actively recruit new retailers to increase sales and expand the retailer base.

  • Consistently review performance indicators with retailers to find areas for improvement.

  • Communicate and implement organizational strategies, specific initiatives, and standard methodologies to improve sales.

  • Follow all requirements rigorously for picking up, transferring, and returning tickets to and from retailers.

  • Recover tickets from other locations as advised by the lottery.

  • Use retailer sales terminals to process returns of instant ticket inventory according to approved processes.

  • Adhere to all lottery procedures such as picking up, dropping off, transferring, closing, and returning tickets to our warehouse.

  • Complete all required paperwork on time with accuracy.

  • Take appropriate follow-up actions on all customer queries

  • Assist lottery personnel with troubleshooting and resolving retailer issues.

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with IGT and Lottery personnel and retailers.

  • Assist with reports and analysis as requested by sales managers.

  • Adhere to the assigned route schedule and assist with other projects as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or related field is a plus.

  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience in retail or wholesale sales preferred.

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and experience with PowerPoint for work on company-provided tablets or computers.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication styles to suit diverse audiences.

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work autonomously and handle time effectively.

  • Must reside in the region where the regional office is located.

  • Extensive daytime travel in a company vehicle.

  • Required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

SCOPE:

Apply standard practices and procedures to analyze situations or data in order to address problems of limited scope.

Normally receive detailed instructions on work and follow established guidelines to efficiently implement solutions.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $39,848 - $103,002. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
