Lead Node.js Full Stack Engineer (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using SQL and Node.js

Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

Identify and accurate bottlenecks and fix bugs

Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation

Take part in code reviews to guarantee consistency with coding standards

Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes

Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality

Document software designs and code to facilitate maintenance and future development

Engage in agile development practices, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience

Solid, hands-on experience in node.js and other related frameworks, microservices architecture and node-based stacks.

Working experience with SQL or NoSQL databases

Experienced in application development using AWS cloud database

Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until April 7th, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 to $162,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
