Citigroup IT Business Senior Analyst in Irving, Texas

Citibank, N.A. seeks an IT Business Senior Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties: Perform database management to analyze, store and manage data, and generate reports. Use Oracle, SQL and Sybase to query data for business data analysis. Produce financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. Profile, transform data, and create database objects where required to prepare dataset needed for business review and reporting. Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources. Perform business and functional requirement analysis and analyze business performance to gain insight and drive business planning. Analyze the Entity Relationship diagram to understand the interlinkage of database tables. Perform data analysis using SQL to ensure that there are no assumptions and gaps in solution design. Complete logical data models of business requirements and provide data flow. Run Unix scripts for data loads. Define systems scope and objectives for projects. Consult with users and clients to solve system problems. Support system change processes from requirements through implementation and provide input based on data analysis. Identify and communicate business risks and impacts. Design templates to capture the system and business requirements, functional, and data mapping documents. Create documentation for database architects, database administrators, release management team, and reporting team. Review software artifacts and process documentation to identify and capture business rules. Create dashboard reports for Business user review and approval. Design dashboard reports using Tableau and IBM Cognos. Create dashboards with visual charts, provide statistical inputs, and progression. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or related position involving database management. 5 years of experience must include: SQL, Oracle; Unix, Tableau; Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio; and Informatica. 1 year of experience must include: Sybase.
