Robert Half Financial Analyst II in Irving, Texas

Description We are looking for a Financial Analyst II in the business services sector, to be based in Irving, Texas, United States. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, providing essential services in the industry. The Financial Analyst II will be responsible for gathering and analyzing financial information, conducting quantitative analyses, and communicating financial information for clients. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed financial analyses and interpret data affecting investment programs

• Use financial software, such as Microsoft Excel, to assemble spreadsheets and create charts and graphs for technical reports

• Forecast business, industry, and economic conditions to guide investment decisions

• Monitor and analyze business trends to project future revenues and expenses

• Maintain a thorough understanding of economic and accounting principles, financial markets, and reporting of financial data

• Work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines

• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking abilities

• Adhere to federal state and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting

• Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and other related financial software effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint

• Experience in financial analysis and quantitative analysis

• Strong communication and written communication skills

• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial markets

• Proficiency in using computer programs for financial tasks

• Ability to perform ad hoc financial tasks and analyze financial statements

• Knowledge of company policies and regulations in the business services industry

• Experience in pricing, reporting, and expense reporting

• Proficiency in using spreadsheets and creating charts and graphs

• Ability to interpret complex financial language

• Experience in making investment decisions based on financial analysis

• Ability to identify future trends based on current financial data

• Knowledge of procedures in the business services industry

• Proficiency in using 'About Time' software for time management

• Strong critical thinking skills.
