Citigroup Engineering Lead Analyst in Irving, Texas

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Engineering Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties: Architect and develop technical architecture for various backend microservices. Develop enterprise solutions that deal with high volume and high frequency data. Design, develop, and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design. Design and develop front-end solutions using various client frameworks. Develop continuous integration / continuous development (CI/CD) pipelines and deploy onto Cloud environments to run scalable solutions. Install new systems or modifications of an existing system. Implement latest development approaches including TDD (Test Driven Development), BDD (Behavior Driven Development), design patterns including CQRS (Command Query Responsibility Segregation) pattern, DDD (Domain driven design), Event sourcing pattern, Strangler pattern, Anti-corruption Layer pattern, Architectures including Microservices, Service Oriented Architecture and SEDA (Staged Event Driven Architecture) using relational and NoSQL data stores. Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, impacts, challenges and mitigation plans. Create various architecture models and design application programming interfaces. Maintain relational databases using Cassandra. Conduct application and software inventory. Prepare production deployment plan, resolve dependencies, and build deployments. Analyze software requirements based on client needs and feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Monitor scrum master and sprint end demo. Review code and project quality. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Applied Computer Science, or related field and 5 years of experience as a Technical Architect, Solutions Architect, Senior Technical Lead, System Architect, Senior Technical Architect, Group Leader, or related position involving design and development of software architecture systems and maintenance of database and applications. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the specified fields and 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the above positions. Full span of experience must include: Openshift, Docker, Java, Kafka, Active MQ, Springboot Microservices, Angular, Selenium/Cucumber, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Kubernetes for software and application development; Applying Junit, Mockito, and Power Mock for unit and component testing while writing test cases; Oracle for structured data and database maintenance; Apache Solr and Cassandra to fetch unstructured data and to integrate various microservices; Elastic, Log Stash, Kibana, Micrometer to implement centralized application logging and distributed tracing; and Working with GIT Hub and Version One to manage code repositories and sprint goals. Additionally, 2 years of experience must include: Working with software architecture, Microsoft Visio tool, App Dynamics, Dynatrace, and architecture model to create and maintain modern microservices based architectures for new applications.
