About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Mortgage Loan Administration Specialist in Commercial Capital Operations as part of the Wholesale Lending Operations division.

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in less complex initiatives and identify opportunity for process improvements for timely processing of all incoming business lending within Transaction and Processing

  • Review and analyze basic business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, and exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables

  • Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures and compliance requirements for collateral and loan documents

  • Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders, including internal and external customers if applicable

  • Prepare loan documentation, coordinate loan closings, and initiate loan disbursements

  • Monitor the changing loan collateral pool for adherence to the Credit Agreement, bank policies, and regulatory requirements

  • Confirm all files and procedures comply with government regulations and bank policies

  • Conduct periodic audits on loan files

  • May provide training and guidance to less experienced specialists

  • Work with both customers and internal/external partners to coordinate the closing of mid-size to major commercial real estate loans, handle flood and collateral due diligence, and catalog documents for system of record storage

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience with Commercial and/or Residential real estate

  • 2 years of experience in Commercial and/or Residential loan documentation, including preparation, review, and the ability to interpret and research legal loan and real estate documents

  • 2 years of working knowledge of residential and/or commercial appraisal requirements

  • Current or previous working knowledge of homebuilder and construction lending

  • Proven work experience with commercial real estate operations

  • Current or previous working knowledge of the Flood Disaster Protection Act (FDPA)

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills

  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment

  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$55,300.00 - $98,300.00
