Role: Data Lead/ Data Integration Project Manager
Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
Position type: 12+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion as FTE
Pay rate $75 - $82/hr on W2
Job Description:
The Data Integration Manager handles facilitating / executing the day-to-day activities that support the execution, enablement and adoption of the Data Transformation Plan and/or support of use cases through collaboration with Functions, Regions and Lines of Business. An ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, strong interpersonal skills and project management expertise are required. The role requires sound analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate complex and dynamic material from various sources to support with business requirement documents, data issues and analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of people. Oversees management of people, budget, and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary action/terminations and may include budget approval
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including the day-to-day execution activities and meetings
• Should be aware of the project status, and coach project leads on approaches to address and escalate potential risks and issues
• Determines appropriateness, confirms quality, and guides revisions/refinement of presentation content and materials for Governance forums
• Manage day-to-day activities related to the overall program / project, and associated dependencies. Allocate / coordinate work within team or project group
• Support resolution of project issues by offering solutions to resolve complex problems, and by interpreting and advising on policies, guidelines or processes
• Liaises with multiple Data teams/departments, and serve as subject matter for planning and analysis of project deliverables and processes
• Guides and allocates taskwork for work streams focusing on broad range of data initiatives including data requirements, issues management, Data Quality rules, lineage, Data Governance and taxonomy
• Develops and articulates business requirements and maps current and future state processes
• Contributes to strategic design and process improvement project implementation, driving progress and decision-making across lines of business and functions working with Technology and Operations and other support organizations
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Client, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
• 6-10 years relevant experience in Banking or Finance preferred
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Ability to be nimble and adjust priorities as needed
• Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives
• Familiarity with data concepts
• Communicates effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels
Education:
• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, Master's degree preferred
