Citigroup Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst in Irving, Texas

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst for its Irving, TX location.

Duties: Develop and read Java, J2EE and Angular code. Coordinate with both Onsite/Offshore teams to ensure efficient design, development and implementation of projects and operational improvements. Develop strategy and exercises control over system roadmaps and planning, accountable for end results. Apply in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures; collaborates with other organizations to resolve issues. Ensure essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards. Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of how the function integrates within overall technology to achieve objectives; requires a good understanding of the industry. Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations; draws on diverse range of internal and external sources. Influence and negotiate with senior leaders (across functions), including external parties. Escalate issues/Provide status to the Senior Management. Enforce coding standards and deliver secure code. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronic Engineering, Application Development, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation. Five (5) years of experience must include: Programming Java or web applications including Java and HTML, and coding in Eclipse IDE; Performing continuous integration and delivery of applications using Jenkins, BitBucket and SonarQube and creating and modifying code support changes in the applications; Performing Systems analysis and analyzing how to modify current applications to deliver the requirement using JIRA and using BitBucket and Eclipse to review code to determine impacts; Writing code to read and updating database using SQL Developer to create SQL and update tables in Oracle databases; Implementing projects using RLM to deploy code changes and knowledge of the software lifecycle to deliver solutions based on requirements; and Performing troubleshooting, researching issues, and using SPLUNK to research logs, debug code in Eclipse to find root cause, and creating a fix that will resolve the issue. 40 hrs./wk.
