TCC is looking to expand its accounting team; we are looking for an Accounting Manager to join the team in our Irving office. You will be a part of the vital and core team at TCC that works daily to support accounting processes and our field leaders.

Job Description:

As an Accounting Manager at Team Car Care, you will be responsible for supervising a team of GL accountants, ensuring accurate and timely financials, driving results through effective management of month end close processes, and providing valuable insights to support our company's growth. You will be a key management member of our finance team, utilizing your experience to oversee financial transactions and contributing to the development of accounting policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of GL accountants with hands on guidance, training, and development opportunities ensuring alignment with company and department goals.

  • Lead the month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met.

  • Oversee the full cycle accounting process, including compilation and analysis of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation ensuring compliance with GAAP and accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.

  • Analyze financial data to identify variances and trends, providing recommendations for cost control and revenue optimization in collaboration with FP&A.

  • Coordinate and manage financial audits by internal and external auditors, ensuring accurate and timely responses to audit inquiries.

  • Leverage Workday financial platform to automate the day-to-day functions so the team can focus on exceptions, audit, and continuous innovation in place of task-oriented work.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes including build, document, and optimize policies to improve governance and accountability, efficiency, and internal controls.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment that supports professional growth and development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

  • At least eight years of accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.

  • Experience managing a high volume of data, accruals, and adjustments.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups).

  • Workday experience a plus.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and both written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.

    Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for at least 2 years. We do accept candidates who are currently on their OPT and have 2 years remaining on their current OPT status.

    The position will initially be on-site (TCC Corporate office, Irving, Texas) with the option to move to hybrid after the appropriate ramp-up period.
