WSNorthrop Grumman Enterprise Services is seeking an Accounting Assistant 3 to support the Document Management Services Team. The selected individual will report to the manager of Accounts Payable and will utilize Open Text OCR/Business Center Workplace to support Document Management Services functions in accordance with company policies and procedures as they relate to our Document Management Services tasks.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Timely and accurate processing of invoices using financial system (s)

  • Review invoices to ensure all financial information is identified

  • Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills to help resolve invoice issues

  • Ability to operate independently

  • Monitor and work to perform departmental and individual processing metrics

  • Ability to perform other duties as assigned

  • Ability to clearly and professionally communicate company policies and procedures

  • Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity

  • Supports month end requirements

  • The ability to multitask and work independently to meet service level agreements

Basic Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of additional education and/or related experience.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel and thorough knowledge of other Microsoft applications including Word and Outlook

  • Customer service experience

  • Experience with detail and time management and multitasking

Preferred Requirements

  • SAP experience

  • 1 to 3 years of industry experience

  • Bachelors Degree in business or related field

  • 1 to 3 years of extracting reports from financial systems

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • 1 to 3 years experience in accounts payroll processing

Salary Range: $42,600 - $71,000

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
