Ellwood National Forge Program Estimation Manager in Irvine, Pennsylvania

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: These job functions are not intended to be an all-encompassing list of duties. Collect and analyze all product, raw material, labor, equipment and tooling costs. Determine producibility and highlight risks associated with opportunities. Conduct time and cost analysis of manufacturing Stay current in new engineering theories, tooling and manufacturing processes to reduce product costs and variability. Present in multi-functional teams initiatives to improve product processing capabilities. Evaluate production risks to ensure costing models capture the full range of potential costs. Update costing data based on new information and customer Interface with all relevant teams regarding intercompany quotes and estimating initiatives. Prepare accurate cost estimates for all ENF Participate in inquiry/order review Participate in the contract review process for new item assessment and Provide technical information in an actionable format to the management and sales Manage specific business systems including Highgear and prepare reports for cross functional teams. Travel as required to other EGI divisions, customers and/or Perform database and system admin functions focused towards planning, organizing and managing the activities of active contracts. Maintain accurate and timely status reports of projects / opportunities. Other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time to support the business needs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Four-year BS Degree in a related Engineering discipline (preferred Mechanical or Industrial engineering degree), 5 years of manufacturing Excellent problem solving and organizational skills Ability to work under pressure to meet set goals and deadlines Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings Ability to manage time well and multitask Strong personal computer skills, including Microsoft office programs Must be results oriented with a strong desire to succeed, and be self-driven Solid verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with the following: Cost estimating Machining or machine tools Manufacturing planning TOC Manufacturing concepts Project Management
