Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Software Engineer to join a large Mortgage company in Irvine, CA (hybrid). This person must have experience with Python, API development, and SQL. This role involves designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable web applications while ensuring seamless integration with databases and APIs. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, analytical, collaborative, and disciplined in writing clean, efficient code. This role is a contract to hire job opportunity that requires to be onsite 3 days a week.

Rate: $48-60/hr

Key Responsibilities:

 Develop, test, and deploy web applications using Python and Flask.

 Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend systems and third-party services.

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

 Write optimized SQL queries to interact with relational databases effectively.

 Ensure the scalability and performance of web applications through best practices.

 Maintain and update existing applications to improve performance and security.

 Create and maintain technical documentation.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of experience with Python programming language

 Strong experience with the Flask web framework

 Hands-on experience with RESTful API development

 Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MSSQL).

 Experience with version control tools like Git

 Experience with debugging and troubleshooting complex systems

 Experience with React (14+)

 Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker Experience with Azure technologies (DevOps, Container Setup, etc)

Experience coming from a testing background (Unit testing preferred) null
