Job Description

As a Solutions Engineer, you are instrumental in driving and supporting technology solutions for the Accounts Payable team within Global Finance. Your efforts focus on enhancing efficiencies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across Capital Group.

You leverage your expertise and thought leadership to stay current with industry and technology trends, while effectively influencing our business partners. This is a 6-9 month contract to hire reporting 3 days a week in their Irvine headquarters.

Skills and Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in solution engineering and business system analysis, with expertise in Accounts Payable technologies, including SAP, Ariba, and Concur (Invoice and Expense modules).

Industry Knowledge: Strong functional and industry knowledge in accounts payable, with the ability to effectively influence business partners.

Solution Delivery: Proficient in SDLC activities such as requirements elicitation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification, and resolution to maintain technology solutions and applications.

Software Engineering: Thoughtful approach to software engineering practices, enabling a future-ready, high-quality, and responsive code base.

Agile Mindset: Passionate about designing product user experiences that drive rapid business growth.

Iterative Work: Ability to work iteratively, continually testing assumptions and prototypes to create effective solutions and adapt to changing circumstances.

Data Processes: Understanding of processes and alternative strategies for data creation, collection, transformation, validation, storage, and output.

Solution Design: Design, develop, and deploy solutions with business insights, analytics, and reporting in mind.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to interact effectively with technology partners, functional teams, and business stakeholders.

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. null
