Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assembler for our 2nd shift, which runs from Monday through Friday, 3pm to 11:30pm. In this role, you will be responsible for buffing, polishing, trimming, and assembling medium to large-sized components, either by hand or with machine assistance. This position involves repetitive tasks to meet company quotas and assembling and packing medical devices in both clean room and non-clean room environments, following specified procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and inspect medical devices following strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), specifications, and procedures.

  • Perform various assembly process steps at multiple workstations throughout manufacturing line rotation, including manual assembly of raw materials, bonding of raw materials, and assembly through manual torque application.

  • Perform primary packaging process steps of medical devices, including pouching units with labeling raw materials.

  • Conduct in-process quality inspections and checks, including visual inspection of devices, packaging materials, and air flow testing of devices.

  • Document actions, data, or results regarding manufacturing processes to ensure accuracy according to Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).

  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance activities to ensure product quality.

  • Clean and organize manufacturing equipment, tools, and supplies.

Essential Skills

  • Manual dexterity and good vision.

  • Ability to pass a visual acuity test (20x25 corrected vision) and Particulate Matter Certification.

  • Ability to read and comprehend manufacturing procedures.

  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.

  • Effective communication skills with leads and supervisors.

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • At least 3 to 6 months of manufacturing experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment.

  • Experience in assembly, production, and packaging.

Work Environment

This role is in a cleanroom/manufacturing environment where you will need to gown up. The work involves maintaining strict cleanliness and following safety protocols to ensure the highest quality of our products.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.45 - $20.45
