This is an exciting opportunity to be a contributor within a high functioning digital and brand marketing team tasked with communicating the value transcatheter heart valves by Edwards Lifesciences that help improve the lives of aortic stenosis patients.

The Transcatheter Heart Valves division at Edwards is looking to expand our Global Brand and Digital team in Irvine, CA with an entrepreneurial team member who is analytical, inquisitive, driven, and resourceful. The Marketing Technology & Insights, Specialist is a hard-working, solution-minded person that enjoys working with marketing technology and data sets across multiple digital channels to deliver the strategic insight and enhance marketing capabilities.

The successful candidate has the skills required to bridge technical challenges with marketing executional objectives. This role will play a significant part collaborating on day-to-day management of marketing automation platforms, marketing data, and delivery of insights. You will also collaborate on long-term strategies around marketing orchestration platforms and marketing analytics that enable capabilities and insights across our customer life cycles.

This role requires the ability to tell the story of data - gleaning insights on successes and failures from the numbers - and make strategic recommendations marketing activities based on your findings. In addition, you will be working collaboratively with our THV Marketing team and cross-functional partners across all customer journey orchestration and lead capture initiatives to support the scale of our campaigns and segmentation strategies.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Develop visually compelling dashboards and tools to automate and support the ongoing analysis of trends, track key performance metrics, and identify business opportunities and result in effective budget resources with ROI analysis. Continually improve user experience for reports and dashboards.

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on martech system capabilities, driving workflow improvements, optimizing automation, streamlining processes, and influencing vendor/internal product roadmaps.

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams on data exchanges and integrations across the tech stack, ensuring robust data capabilities within martech stack and in support of analytics efforts.

  • Solid understanding of marketing automation platforms, customer data platforms, CRM engines, and other foundational digital marketing platforms (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce, and Dynamics 365).

  • Solid understanding of lead intake management, data governance, and lead scoring model processes.

  • Present and communicate complex analytical findings and impact of automation systems to be clear, concise, and decision oriented in line with business goals to senior leadership.

  • Partner across functions to set up the data available to develop appropriate analysis and interpret the output.

  • Collaborate with Edwards IT and external vendors on building and customizing Google Analytics and Tag Manager implementations.

  • Identify and assess the value of data sources based on organizational need to influence data acquisition strategy.

  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for change or bring in additional tools and platforms to empower functions within BU.

  • Perform ad hoc analysis as assigned and actively identify new opportunities for value-add analytics.

What you'll need (Requirement:

  • Master's Degree or equivalent in related field with 3 years experience of previous related experience required or Bachelor's Degree in related field with 5 years experience of previous related experience required.

What else we look for (Preferred):

  • Proven expertise in business intelligence and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Python) required.

  • Previous experience with Marketo programs and Salesforce campaigns required.

  • Technical acumen and ability to have conversations about API’s, SQL, Macros with IT and BI teams.

  • Solid understanding of how digital channels work together to create the cohesive, personalized marketing program for the customer.

  • Consistently pushes self and others to achieve challenging goals and objectives with a track record of executional successes based on integrity.

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

  • Extensive knowledge of own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.

  • Extensive understanding of quantitative methodologies, techniques and tools to develop best in class analytic solution.

  • Strict attention to detail.

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Interacts with team members and other managers and may include suppliers, vendors and/or customers.

  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.

Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $103,000 to $146,000 (highly experienced).
