Our client, a leading electronics testing firm, is seeking an Engineering Technician IV to join their team. As an Engineering Technician, you will be part of the EMC Lab, supporting testing operations for SSD products. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Engineering Technician IV

Location: Irvine, CA

Pay: $45-50/h + Benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ESD testing in accordance with IEC-61000-4-2 for SSD products

• Assist engineers with EMI and Immunity testing

• Operate EMC equipment including spectrum analyzers, amplifiers, and antennas

• Conduct diagnostics, execute test procedures, and maintain lab equipment

• Generate detailed test reports and ensure lab upkeep

Requirements

• 4-6+ years of experience in EMC/ESD testing

• Familiarity with EMI testing standards such as CISPR32 and FCC Class-B

• Experience with EMC testing equipment such as anechoic chambers, GTEM cells, and line filters

• Basic soldering and PCBA rework skills

• Strong teamwork and communication skills
