Allied Universal Digital Marketing Manager - Social Media in Irvine, California

Allied Universal® is hiring a Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager to play a pivotal role within the Allied Universal Marketing team, and to be located at our Corporate Headquarters in Irvine, CA. The Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content marketing strategy, demonstrating expertise across all major social media platforms, and showcasing strong design, online marketing, and content creation skills. The manager will assist with Allied Universal's online presence in North America, managing content publication and audience engagement across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Indeed, Glass Door and Review sites. Key responsibilities include developing a content marketing calendar, producing compelling posts, and creating short-form video content designed to expand audience reach and drive engagement across all channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content Creation & Strategy:

  • Develop and implement an innovative content strategy that aligns with broader marketing campaigns and resonates with key audiences, while overseeing social media channels to drive engagement, brand awareness, and consistent messaging through Hootsuite

  • Produce and edit high-quality short-form or multimedia content that captivates and informs audiences while driving interaction with tools like Canva

Driving Revenue Growth:

  • Develop and execute content marketing campaigns to acquire new companies, generate leads, and improve conversion rates, while enhancing client engagement and identifying cross-sell opportunities

  • Establish social media priorities, goals, and performance metrics aligned with business objectives and audience insights, integrating SEO-driven content to maximize visibility and enhance search rankings

  • Leverage data analytics to refine strategies, implement best practices, and provide regular performance metrics aligned with KPIs

Execute Recruiting Effectiveness:

  • Boost success of recruiting campaigns with organic and paid programs

  • Strengthen recruitment effectiveness by managing content on platforms such as Indeed.com and Glassdoor.com, with a focus on branding and rating improvement

Building Reputation and Strength:

  • Foster employee advocacy and expand network reach using Hootsuite Amplify while enhancing the company’s online presence by increasing positive reviews across key digital platforms

  • Monitor brand sentiment and gather target audience insights through platforms like Talkwalker, Birdeye, or reputation.com. This responsibility includes possible exposure to explicit, graphic, and/or violent online content

  • Build an influencer marketing program to expand brand reach and visibility

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in B2B content marketing or social media strategy roles

  • Experience with Hootsuite or comparable social listening tools

  • Knowledge of content development, social media platforms and best practices

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, After Effects, Canva, or equivalent tool

  • Problem-solving skills; ability to exercise sound judgement and business intelligence

  • Proficient in creating reports and tracking results; comfortable with data collection and analysis

  • Able to effectively prioritize tasks based on business contribution and need

  • Able to adapt to new situations, processes, and directions

  • Attention to detail

  • Demonstrated proficiency in communications (oral and written); strong editing/proofreading skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Familiarity with platform analytic tools

  • Prior experience with online marketing, paid lead programs, LinkedIn advertising, and use of intent for account-based marketing

  • Experience in a public or large global company

BENEFITS:

  • Pay: $75,000 - $100,000 base salary with annual bonus eligibility

  • Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance

  • Enrollment in our company’s 401(k)plan, subject to eligibility requirements

  • Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days

  • Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.
