In this position you will welcome clients and visitors, providing them with assistance and directing them to appropriate team members. You will answer and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally, take payments, gather information for service or sales team members and schedule appointments.

Work Experience:

  • Experience in customer service is desirable.
  • Experience working in an office setting is desirable.
  • Experience with computer software. Microsoft Office experience is required.
  • Experience with data entry/keyboard operations is required.

Job-Related Training Requirements: Must be able to pass a background check and complete State Farm's required system training.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Client Interaction: Welcome clients and visitors, providing them with assistance and directing them to the appropriate personnel, take payments and gather service or sales information.
  • Phone Management: Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with general office tasks, scheduling appointments, filing, copying, data entry and updating social media sites.
  • Office Maintenance: Keep a clean and organized reception area and common spaces. Maintain the office supplies and re-stocking duties.

Office hours:

  • 25 hours per week, Monday-Friday 12:00 PM-5:00 PM
  • Office Hours are subject to change
