City Of Ironwood Clerk's Office Temporary Worker in Ironwood, Michigan

The City of Ironwood Clerk's Department is accepting applications for temporary employment. Applications will be reviewed as they are received and accepted until the position is filled, so please apply ASAP.  One position is available with employment to start as soon as possible and end no later than December 31, 2024. The City will work with the applicant selected for the position on an agreeable start and end date. This is a temporary position of 40 hours/week.  The typical workweek is 8 hours/day Monday through Friday. Employees will be paid $15.00 per hour with no fringe benefits.  The work schedule will be set by the City Clerk.

The employee working in this position will be expected to assist in maintaining a variety of records, reports, and transfer hard copy records to digital records.

Qualifications:  Must be 18 years of age or older, be a self-starter, work with minimal supervision, and be able to operate necessary computer programs and scanning equipment. Applications being accepted until 4:00 p.m., September 20, 2024.
