Hiring for Maintenance Electrician in Iron Station $34/hr!

Job Description

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will work with precision-engineered bearings that include tapered, spherical, cylindrical, thrust, ball, plain, miniature, precision, and housed unit bearings. These bearings are known for their high performance, reliability, and quality materials.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, repair, install, and maintain all electrical, electronic, and logic equipment.

  • Repair and adjust precision instruments and gauges to required tolerances.

  • Utilize electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters, wattmeters, and tube testers.

  • Install caliber equipment.

  • Work with AC/DC motors, generators, transformers, circuit breakers, electronics, starters, switches, lighting equipment, power distribution, and control circuits.

  • Receive wiring diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and instructions from supervisors.

  • Apply working knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, wiring specifications, and codes.

  • Dismantle, inspect, repair, adjust, or replace faulty parts and wiring on motors, generators, power distribution and control panels, and circuit breakers.

Essential Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience working as an Electrical Technician in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience with electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters, wattmeters, and tube testers.

  • Knowledge of AC/DC motors, generators, transformers, circuit breakers, electronics, starters, switches, lighting equipment, power distribution, and control circuits.

  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and instructions.

  • Strong understanding of electrical and electronic principles, wiring specifications, and codes.

  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and components.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • General knowledge of CNC/PLC.

  • Ability to troubleshoot both CNC/Fanuc robots and PLCs.

  • Experience with Siemens equipment preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr.
