JOB SUMMARY

The Respiratory Therapist – Reg is responsible for the provision of Respiratory Therapy procedures using established guidelines. Participates in patient /family education regarding disease process. Works cooperatively with all internal and external services to provide optimal patient care.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: Satisfactory completion of an accredited respiratory care associate degree program, the ability to meet both NBRT certification and registration requirements.

Preferred/Optional: None

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Minimum Required: Basic computer skills.

Preferred/Optional: One-year respiratory care experience preferable.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Minimum Required: Applicable state Respiratory Therapist Licensure required. BCLS within one month of hire and NRP certification required within 3 months hire.

  • Start/End Times: 7a-7p, 8a-8p, 7p-7a, or as assigned
