• Maintain a safe work environment.

• Perform maintenance tasks assigned to the various trades departments

• Perform work to prevent premature deterioration of buildings and equipment.

• Work in cooperation with in-house departments and approved contractors

• Perform emergency work when required after hours

• Participate in all safety trainings as directed.

• Perform duties as assigned as a member of the maintenance team.

• Assist in providing the necessary safeguards to prevent loss of school property

• Use equipment including but not limited to:

  a. Vehicles and trailers b. Hand and power tools of the maintenance trades c. Light duty maintenance care of equipment d. Typical nonspecialized construction and repair tools

• Other duties as assigned
