Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic -

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team on the 3rd shift. You will be responsible for maintaining machines, including performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting components such as electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Additionally, you will handle some machine installations and perform mechanical and electrical layouts/modifications.

This is a fully on-site position in Iowa City, Iowa.

Work Environment

You will be working in a highly regulated, temperature-controlled, and clean environment in a plastics bottling company that utilizes stretch/blow mold technology to manufacture bottles and bottle caps. Hair nets, steel-toed boots, and ear plugs are required at all times. The work culture is collaborative and focused on getting the job done, as opposed to a unionized environment.
