Recreation Content Creator $16.00 per hour

Definition of Work: The Recreation Content Creator will work with the Special Events and Communications - Recreation Program Supervisor to promote recreation programs, events, initiatives, facilities and other department needs. This position will assist in developing social media content, flyers, calendars, a quarterly newsletter and other communication needs. Conducts self in a manner which promotes and supports diversity and inclusivity in the workplace and community. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Experience with Canva, Microsoft Office Suite, developing social media content, writing newsletter or other relevant content required. Experience with Photoshop and photography skills preferred. Must work well independently and as part of a team. Comfort with working indoors and outdoors in fast-paced environments required. Must pass criminal background check.

Hours of Operation: Flexible weekday responsibilities at the Robert A. Lee Recreation Center, and occasional weekend responsibilities, up to 25 hours per week
