ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY

POSITION: CUSTODIAN

12 Month Contract Full-time Position (Hours: 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform custodial and light maintenance work including cleaning, event set

up, secure buildings, and other duties as assigned.

Position Description

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma, or G.E.D, required. Previous experience helpful. Must

be able to lift and stack objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and frequently

exert 20-30 pounds of force to lift, carry, push and pull or otherwise move

objects. Valid drivers license.

LOCATION: Iola, Kansas Campus

SALARY: \$14.00 per hour starting. Excellent benefit package including paid

medical/dental for employee only, generous vacation, sick leave, personal

day, paid holidays, tuition discounts and KPERS. The successful candidate

will be subject to a background check.
